Lincoln Woman Donates $50,000 to Pibel Lake Playground Project
Hope Peterson of Lincoln has donated $50,000 towards new playground equipment at Pibel Lake Recreation Area south of Bartlett. Peterson, who grew up in the Pibel neighborhood, said she wished to make sure children visiting the lake would have fun on safe, modern equipment. Peterson's donation will be utilized, along with grant monies and NRD funds, to purchase playground equipment for the south side of Pibel Lake and in a new camping area on the north side.
