Lower Loup NRD Drought Impact Update Meetings

Informational meetings to discuss potential groundwater management changes – including flow meter requirements – based on the Lower Loup NRD’s Drought Management Plan, will be held November 14 and 15.

Monroe Gymnasium at 414 Osborn Avenue on November 14, 2023, from 4 pm to 6 pm.
Pleasanton Community Center at 202 N Sycamore St. on November 15, 2023, from 4 pm to 6 pm.

If approved, the proposed changes would take place in Drought Management Areas 18 and 20 (see maps). The public is encouraged to attend. Contact the Lower Loup NRD at (308) 728-3221 for more information.
