Public Information Meeting in Ansley January 8 to Inform about Mud Creek Project

The measures shown here are being planned to help alleviate flood damages in Ansley, NE.  These measures include two dams north of town, identified as F1-50 and F1-52 in the photo.  A diversion channel, identified as D1-53 in the photo, is planned to divert runoff from large storm events around Ansley and into Mud Creek northwest of town.  Staff from the Lower Loup NRD and JEO Consulting will host a public information meeting from 6:00 – 7:00 pm on January 8th at the Ansley Municipal Auditorium to discus the project, answer questions, and receive comments from the public.
